Sean Spicer has stepped down from his role as White House press secretary, following this decision he released a statement.
“It’s been an honor & a privilege to serve [President Donald Trump] & this amazing country. I will continue my service through August,” Spicer said in a tweet.

Spicer told the President he vehemently disagreed with his choice to the top communications post, the New York Times reported.
The hedge fund bigwig’s appointment was announced as soon as Friday, according to reports. He’ll fill the position vacated by Mike Dubke, who resigned from his post in late May.
Scaramucci’s hiring surprised Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, who wasn’t made aware of the move until it was finalized, according to Axios, which first reported the news.
The 53-year-old Wall Street executive was a Trump donor and member of his transition team — having previously supported Jeb Bush and Scott Walker.
He’d long been considered for a White House gig, but nothing materialized during Trump’s first six months in office.
Scaramucci — who regularly appears on Fox News — sold off his share of SkyBridge Capital earlier this year, the hedge fund he founded in 2005.
Last month he took a top position at the U.S. Export-Import Bank, which he’ll leave to become communications director, according to reports.
Scaramucci was the focus of a controversial CNN story that ran in late June and pulled just a day later.
The story claimed Scaramucci met with an executive from a Kremlin-linked bank days before the election.
Three reporters left the network after the story was retracted.
Trump has reportedly fumed over his communications team’s performance.
Press secretary Sean Spicer has been replaced at the podium by deputy Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and fewer briefings have been on camera.
I mean lets just cast are minds back and remember that this Scaramucci is the same man who sued CNN for 100 million dollars. And quite frankly Anyone who sues CNN for $100M and forces them to fire 3 of their hacks, or what they call “reporters” (?), must be a pretty good guy.
Trump will also benefit from this. As I don’t think Spicer knew what Trump was up against. I mean he was part of the old guard Republican establishment communications team.
AND QUITE FRANKLY, IF TRUMP WANTS TO DRAIN THE SWAMP THEN HE NEEDS TO REMOVE THE SWAMP MEMBERS AROUND HIM…..
