Post surgery Sarah Silverman who is “Lucky To Be Alive”
Tweeted: WAKE UP & JOIN THE RESISTANCE. ONCE THE MILITARY IS W US FASCISTS GET OVERTHROWN. MAD KING & HIS HANDLERS GO BYE BYE strangely followed by 4 heart emojis.
It is unclear if Silverman is medicated at this time, however her rants elicited responses from other attention hungry Hollywood types, who encouraged violence and arson.
This has unfortunately happened during the rioting on Berkeley’s campus – It is unclear if the timing was incidental but it was certainly “bad timing.” Her comments haven’t been responded to by the US Military in any official capacity by the time of this article.
Sarah was quoted as saying: “For a lot of people, this is the Great Depression, but this time it’s emotional & physical,” Silverman wrote on Twitter. “Our bodies r breaking down w fear & rage…”
Doctors have suggested that fear and rage are indeed unhealthy, but no spokesperson from the AMA have stepped forward to reinforce Silverman’s assertions.
Reuters: And the hotter the anger, the higher the risk. The most intense outbursts correlated to a more than four-fold increase in risk, Reuters reports. Overall, the team found that the risk for heart attack was about 1.7 times higher in people who felt moderate anger, 2.3 times higher in people so angry that their bodies tensed up and their teeth and fists clenched, and 4.5 times higher in people so enraged that they threw objects or lost control.
Many of the celebrities that aren’t relevant enough to command the US Military have made similar bids for attention in recent weeks. While most of these comments were made in arguably poor taste, they all seem to reflect a Liberal perspective that is neither healthy nor recommended. At least from Sarah Silverman’s comments, this seems to be the real message.
