As we all saw, not long ago, President Trump through his Twitter account suggested that someone must target Hillary’s connection overwhelmed with corruption with the DNC.
Regarding these suggestions, Lindsey Graham decided to step on stage and share his double-standard personal opinion that the President is not allowed to make such suggestions.
He appeared on Fox News saying that Trump is “crossing the line”.
“Everybody is asking why the Justice Department (and FBI) isn’t looking into all of the dishonesty going on with Crooked Hillary & the Dems. New Donna B book says she paid for and stole the Dem Primary. What about the deleted E-mails, Uranium, Podesta, the Server, plus, plus People are angry. At some point, the Justice Department, and the FBI must do what is right and proper. The American public deserves it!”
On this, Graham stated in the interview:
“The president of the United States is in charge of the executive branch, it’s not his job to be telling the attorney general to be prosecuting a particular individual or group. It is the attorney general’s job to do that independent,”
“We have a rule of law that is independent of political influence, and when you call on your attorney general to prosecute your former opponent, that is crossing the line,” – added Graham.
However, Graham is not the first to criticize Trump’s intention to finish this case. Morning Joe’s John Heilmann also addressed to President Trump saying that he is “authoritarian dictator”
“He is frustrated by the fact that he can’t behave like an authoritarian dictator. He’s getting pretty close to it again saying I can’t do anything with the department and the FBI, but go FBI and Justice Department, making his preferences clear,” Heilemann stated.
