Liberals are sick Machiavellian operatives. They have politicized everything in this country because they know how it corrupts people and makes them easier to manipulate. For that reason they believe, to paraphrase the Left’s former idol, Benito Mussolini, ‘all within politics, nothing outside politics, nothing against politics.”
Since October, our society has been undergoing the exposure to how extensive sexual harassment and assaults are in this country. It began with Harvey Weinstein in Hollywood, but the moment it crossed into Congress the issue became politicized.
What should have been clear to all, but was not, was how the politicization of the crime would be so quickly used to try and get President Trump to resign, if not impeached.
Sarah Palin notes that several weeks ago, Fox News host Laura Ingraham warned that this very thing would happen.
On her December 12 show, Ingraham said, “I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so.”
The Fox News host reminded audiences that the she had previously viewed the promised resignation of Senator Al Franken (D-MN) as the Left’s sacrifice on the altar of political expediency in aiming for Trump.
Head priestess of the sacrifice was Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY)
“Kirsten Gillibrand is the de-facto leader now of the ‘Get Trump Crusade’”, said Ingraham, “Do you remember her voicing such concern for Bill Clinton’s accusers when he was appearing at her fundraisers? Neither do I.”
As further proof that the Left was manipulating the suffering of women, Ingraham noted that several of Trump’s prior accusers had ‘re-aired their allegations’ that was quickly followed up by Democrats calling for Trump to resign.
“I’m sure it’s all just a total coincidence,” Ingraham said bemusedly.
“I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so,” Laura Ingraham said in her monologue Tuesday night, explaining that Democrats are proving her right by trying to take down President Trump using the “sexual allegation circus.”
In her December 6 “Angle” commentary, Ingraham said Democrats were “sacrificing” Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.), predicting they would use previous allegations of sexual misconduct to next go after Trump.
Ingraham said “like clockwork,” three of Trump’s accusers re-aired their allegationson Monday morning, prompting several Democratic senators to call for Trump to resign.
On Tuesday, Trump lashed out at Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) on Twitter, calling her a “lightweight” and claiming she asked him for campaign donations and “would do anything for them.”
“Kirsten Gillibrand is the de-facto leader now of the ‘Get Trump Crusade.’ Do you remember her voicing such concern for Bill Clinton’s accusers when he was appearing at her fundraisers? Neither do I,” Ingraham said.
The president has long denied the accusations, but Ingraham said liberals have created a “dangerous climate” where allegations are enough to “strip any man of his career.”
She noted that Trump’s accusers called for a congressional investigation of the allegations just as more than 100 Democrats did the same thing on Tuesday.
“I’m sure it’s all just a total coincidence.”
