Report Finds 3M Kids Not Showing Up To Virtual Classes — Cruz Unleashes On Dems For Being ‘Fine With It’

Sen. Ted Cruz and other Republicans excoriated Democrats and the government after a report found an estimated 3 million children have “fallen off the grid” and are not showing up to their virtual classes.

“Three…million…kids. Fallen off the grid. Abandoned. Dem politicians are fine with it — want it to continue indefinitely,” Cruz tweeted on Tuesday. “Enough. #OpenSchoolsNow.”

Cruz was responding to a report that approximately 3 million students may have gone “missing” from school since last March when schools were locked down over the coronavirus.

Rep. Nancy Mace and others joined Cruz in condemning the government for lockdowns that reportedly resulted in so many children going missing.

“This is what happens when anti-science fearmongers, petty tyrants, and government union officials are the ones making decisions. Good job, government. Good job,” Mace tweeted.
